NEXT REALITY & IVR
Next Reality was founded in 2000 to develop architecture, urban design and interactive worlds such as W.O.M.B. and XCave. Both sensitive 3D-scenarios are good examples of new cognitive learning platforms for schools, institutes and museums with interactive concepts.
At present I am concentrating on the development of the artistic and architectural potential of virtual reality and their environmental interactions.
Our immersive virtual reality environment uses wide stereo projections and a system for tracking the position of the viewer in the 3D-scene. The impression of being inside is similar to what one experiences in a holographic picture, with the difference that you are interacting with this synthetic world.
The scenes are produced with an independent 3D modelling program (Maya, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, etc.). The scene editor RIIVER enables interactive real time among other things and allows you to import the scene into a virtual immersive environment or PC and edit it.
The convincing impression of virtual objects elicits a spontaneous desire to dive through and, if desired, to work out the scene. NR enables its clients to realize their own programming needs independently and step-by-step. The software solution RIIVER facilitates a fluently visceral way of working in the virtual immersive environment.

- We help our clients install and integrate their solutions into RIIVER and their IVR system
- We train our clients to become extremely independent in the individual use of the system
- We aim to enable our clients to create a complete standalone interactive scene
- We offer all necessary training, which we personalize and adapt to the needs of our clients
